All of our children have the opportunity to experience forest school. Forest school is a child centred inspirational learning process that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions.

 

Children develop confidence and self esteem through learner inspired, hands on experiences in a natural setting. They quickly learn to build a camp area followed by age appropriate activities such as making forest collections, clay tree fairies and scavenger hunts to name just a few.

 

Our children hugely benefit from this programme. The impact on their learning in nursery after the programme is significant. Confidence flourishes, children take risks and are in charge of their own learning!
