The children have enjoyed making apple muffins that had been harvested from the apple trees. We measured out the dry ingredients and added them into a mixing bowl. We then added milk, mashed banana and chopped apple into the mixture.
We learnt the names of different kitchen equipment and what they are used for, such as “peeler” and “masher”.
The children helped to stir the mixture and combine the ingredients. We then spooned the mixture into the muffin cases and put them in the oven to bake! They even loved helping with the washing up afterwards!
