'The 'Musical Discoveries' sessions are hands-on activity sessions for Nursey & Reception age, involving instruments and live musical accompaniment. A range of fun songs and movement activities are presented to the whole group. |

Each week is themed separately, according to the 'musical elements' from the music curriculum and providing the typical musical educational experience required at foundation level.

1) Timbre (exporing wooden, plastic, metal and 'body percussion'. 2) Duration (exploring long and short sounds) 3) Pitch (exploring high and low sounds) 4) Dynamics (exploring loud and quiet sounds) 5) Tempo (exploring fast and slow sounds) |
